Welcome to my blog! I am so glad to be sharing life's little mommy moments with you!
I'm Tara, new mommy to Tallan Hope, our precious baby girl. I would love to take a moment to tell ya a bit more about myself!
I am originally from the good ole' state of Texas, from which my attitude still has a twang! With a love for sports, I grew up immersed in anything athletic. I am a hurdler, jumper, sprinter alum of Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, where I acquired a degree in Health Promotion and Biology.
After marrying my high school sweetheart (cue the corny music,) in 2006, we moved to Kansas City, Missouri for my husband to attend pharmacy school, during which I managed a hospital fitness facility in downtown KC. Like I said earlier, with a background in sports and fitness, I have been personal training, managing a fitness facility, teaching yoga and boot camp and having a grand time here ever since!
In April 2012, my husband and I welcomed our first child, Tallan Hope, and LIFE CHANGED FOREVER! I have now morphed into a the stay at home, cloth diapering, breast feeding loving mommy...and I wouldn't have it any other way! I look forward to marking Tallan's funnies and firsts with this blog outlet; as well as have a place for my sarcastic self in the process! Thank you for stopping by and reading!

ReplyDeleteI will blog about it eventually but Tallan was named so that she kind of matched my name. I'm Tara Faith, so we decided on Tallan Hope! HENCE the title of my blog: Faith Hope & Mommyood has kind of a double meaning now! See what I did there!? Hehe
